EXHIBIT A <br />Technolosv and Services Description <br />Funds to support the Program will be provided to EMS by CHS in the amount of ONE <br />HUNDRED AND TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($120,000) and will be payable as <br />follows: <br />SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($60,000) will be paid within thirty (30) days of the Effective <br />Date of this Agreement. The remaining SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS (560,000) will paid <br />within thirty days of the first anniversary of the Effective Date. <br />All funds will support the following technology and services during the two year Initial Term of <br />this Agreement: <br />1. Telenology: Custom-built communication device to be installed into each of the 17 <br />Cabarrus County ambulances. Costs for Telenology include all components of the device <br />itself including: 2 -way video communication tablet, microphone, custom software <br />license, Bluetooth blood pressure cuff, Bluetooth pulse oximeter, microphone, and 24/7 <br />technology support of the device. Device life expectancy is 3 years. <br />2. Two -Way Video Package: This includes all costs associated with maintaining a HIPAA <br />compliant 2 -way video software specifically designed to urn on the lowest possible <br />bandwidth. The low bandwidth communication is essential to ensure that calls are not <br />dropped en route due to poor cellular service. <br />3. In Hospital Physician Device: Top of the line tablet and headset combinations for <br />physicians and VCC to carry on their person during shifts, including depreciation and <br />potential replacement of the devices, <br />4.
