CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />MARCH 19, 2018 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance - Workers' Compensation Fund Budget Amendment <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Finance annually reviews revenues and expenditures of the Workers' <br />Compensation Fund based on actual activity that as occurred as well as <br />any anticipated activity. Based on this analysis, the attached budget <br />amendment is being submitted. This budget amendment increases <br />revenue estimates due to insurance refunds received, revises the <br />insurance and bonds expenditure account due to paying for a workers' <br />comp audit and revises the budget for insurance claims based on a <br />projected increase in workers' comp claims that will be paid this fiscal <br />year.
