CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />APRIL 16, 2018 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />Finance - Resolution Approving the Installment Contract Financing for <br />Various Public Projects up to $55,000,000 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Board of County Commissioners has preliminarily approved the <br />issuance of Limited Obligation Bonds (LOBS) for the funding of various <br />public projects on March 19, 2018 and also held a public hearing on that <br />day. <br />The next required step in the financing is the final approval by adoption of <br />the attached Resolution approving the installment contract financing in an <br />amount not -to -exceed $55,000,000. The LOBS are scheduled for <br />issuance in May 2018, subject to approval by the Local Government <br />Commission. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to adopt the Resolution Approving Installment Contract Financing <br />for Various Public Projects in an Aggregate Principal Amount up to <br />$55,000,000 and Execution and Delivery by the Cabarrus County <br />Development Corporation of Limited Obligation Bonds Related thereto, <br />Authorizing the Execution and Delivery of Related Documents in <br />Connection therewith, and Providing for Certain other Related Matters. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Susan Fearrington, Finance Director <br />F-2 Page 35 <br />
