CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />MAY 21, 2018 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - Duke Energy Easement at Coddle Creek Reservoir <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />County staff will provide information for Duke Energy requesting an <br />easement on property owned by Cabarrus County at the Coddle Creek <br />Reservoir near NC Highway 73. This easement and the work to be <br />completed within it are part of a larger Duke Energy improvement project <br />in that area. The draft document and map of the proposed improvements <br />are attached. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve the easement agreement between Cabarrus County <br />and Duke Energy. Authorize the County Manager to execute the <br />easement document on behalf of Cabarrus County, subject to review or <br />revisions by the County Attorney. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Jonathan B.
