CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />MAY 21, 2018 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />SUBJECT: <br />Planning and Development Department - Amendment to Agreement with <br />Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County to Collect Fees <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Recent changes in state legislation and related judicial action have <br />created a need to revise the agreement that Cabarrus County has with the <br />Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County (WSACC). Currently, <br />Cabarrus County collects a percentage of the fees for administration of <br />the program. WSACC is proposing that the agreement be amended to be <br />a flat rate for the administration of the program.
