CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />MAY 21, 2018 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - Mount Pleasant Middle School Sale Offer Review <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Cabarrus County has received an offer for sale of the old Mount Pleasant <br />Middle School site located at 8325 NC -49 in Mount Pleasant, NC. The <br />parcel for sale is only the main parcel (20.27 acres), not the small parcel <br />across North Drive that houses the small ball fields used by the youth <br />associations. <br />Staff has invited the potential owner to the meeting to discuss both his <br />short and long term plans for the site with the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners.
