A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE <br />CABARRUS COUNTY EARLY CHILDHOOD ADVISORY BOARD <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is concerned with the early childhood education of <br />our youth throughout Cabarrus County, and is especially interested in enhancing early <br />intervention efforts, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners intends to establish an Early Childhood Advisory <br />Board to serve as a resource to evaluate existing early intervention efforts, to assess available <br />resources, and identify actions that could be taken to develop an enhanced plan of support for <br />early childhood education; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners hereby <br />establishes the Cabarrus County Early Childhood Advisory Board, providing for a 15 -member <br />board with staggered terms among its initial membership and awaiting approval of its bylaws <br />at a later date. <br />Adopted this 18th day of June, 2018. <br />ATTEST: <br />Angela Poplin, Interim Clerk to the Board <br />Stephen M.
