CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />JUNE 18, 2018 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />SUBJECT: <br />Infrastructure and Asset Management - Transfer of Surplus Vehicle to <br />Allen Volunteer Fire Department <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Allen Volunteer Fire Department has requested one surplus vehicle from <br />the Cabarrus County Sheriffs Office fleet. County staff have identified <br />asset 2183 (VIN # 1FMPU16536LA31645), a 2006 Ford Expedition with <br />136,354 miles, as a match for their request. <br />According to the request from the fire department, the vehicle will be used <br />as a medic unit to respond to medical calls and will be used to transport <br />personnel to training classes.
