CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />JUNE 18, 2018 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance —Workers' Compensation Fund Budget Amendment <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Finance reviews revenues and expenditures annually of the Workers' <br />Compensation Fund based on actual activity as well as anticipated activity <br />for the fiscal year. Based on a second analysis through mid-May, claims <br />are anticipated to be higher than expected. Therefore, a budget <br />amendment is needed to adjust expenditures for claims.
