CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 18, 2018 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Appointments to Boards and Committees <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointments and Removals - Cabarrus County Tourism Authority <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Cabarrus County Tourism Authority Board of Directors has 4 seats <br />that need to be appointed for the term commencing July 1, 2018 and <br />expiring on June 30, 2021. The nominating group and their nominees are <br />as follows: <br />- Cabarrus County — Seat #4 Diane Honeycutt* <br />- Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce — Seat #6 Owen Parker <br />- Cabarrus County Tourism Authority — Seat #5 Terry Crawford <br />- Cabarrus County Tourism Authority — Seat #11 — Angie Brown* <br />*Reappointment <br />Jennifer Parsley and Joel Griffin's terms on the Cabarrus County Tourism <br />Authority ends June 30th. They are not eligible to serve another term. It is <br />requested to remove their names from the roster. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to remove Jennifer Parsley (Seat #5) and Joel Griffin (Seat #6) <br />from the Cabarrus County Tourism Authority roster and thank them for <br />their service. <br />Motion to reappoint Diane Honeycutt (Seat # 4) and Angie Brown (Seat <br />#11) to the Cabarrus County Tourism Authority for three-year terms <br />ending June 30, 2021. <br />H-8 Page 533 <br />
