Budget Ordinance <br />C. The appropriations for Cabarrus County Schools and Kannapolis City Schools have been allocated by <br />category. Cabarrus County Schools and Kannapolis City Schools must obtain the approval of the Board <br />of Commissioners for any amendment to their respective budgets which would increase or decrease <br />the amount of County appropriations allocated by category by more than ten percent. <br />Section IV. <br />This ordinance and the budget documents shall be the basis for the financial plan for the County of Cabarrus for the <br />2018-2019 fiscal year. The County Manager and the Finance Director shall administer the budget. The Budget <br />Director shall establish and maintain all records, which are in concurrence with this budget and budget ordinance <br />and the appropriate statutes of the State of North Carolina. Funds appropriated in the FY 2017-2018 Budget and <br />encumbered on lune 30, 2018 shall be authorized as part of the Budget Appropriation by adoption of this Budget <br />Ordinance. <br />Adopted this the 181h day of lune, 2018. <br />Angela Poplin, Interim Clerk to the Board <br />Stephen M.
