CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />JULY 17, 2018 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />SUBJECT: <br />EMS - Authorization to Purchase Ambulances <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Staff is requesting authorization to purchase three ambulances using the <br />Savvik buying group at a cost of $165,825 each (total $497,475). The <br />ambulance purchase was included in the FY19 budget adopted on June <br />18. Ambulances are routinely purchased through the buying <br />group/cooperative in place of bid requests. The quote used for budgeting <br />purposes is attached.
