CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />JULY 17, 2018 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance - Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) FY19 Allocation of <br />Funds <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />As part of the Cabarrus County Annual Budget process, an amount is <br />approved for the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) program. <br />The County receives the JCPC funding and then passes the funds on to <br />JCPC approved sub -recipients. The total amount of funds to be received <br />from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety for FY19 is <br />$310,611. During the FY19 budget process $15,500 was placed in the <br />Sheriffs Department budget for JCPC Administration and $295,111 was <br />placed in an unallocated line item awaiting the final allocation by the <br />Cabarrus County JCPC.
