Box 707 <br />Concord, NC 28026 <br />Commissioners, <br />The Cabarrus County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council recommends the following to fill vacant seats. <br />Chase Carey filling the Student seat for Cabarrus County. He is a member of the City of Concord Youth <br />Council for over g years, he has volunteered with many different organizations, including the Carolina <br />Raptor Center, but most of his time goes towards volunteering around the City of Concord with the Youth <br />Council. <br />The council also recommends Noel Thomas -Lester for the Mental Health vacant seat. She has 20 years <br />working with youth and families involved with the Juvenile Justice system and the resources that work <br />with them. Noel has a Masters in Social Work, is a licensed clinical social worker, and system of care <br />manager with Cardinal Innovations. <br />Dean Vernon was renewed to serve for two more years He thanked the council for his four years serving <br />on the JCPC Council and has recommended Larry Brian Heintz to take his seat. Brian is an SRO at <br />Northwest Middle School. He graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1988, took college courses <br />at RCCC, UNCC, Stanly Community College and CPCC Academy of Applied Forensics, and has earned <br />the Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate and NC School Resource Officer Certificate. <br />Sincerely, <br />Megan Baumgardner <br />JCPC Chairperson <br />Page 251 <br />
