F.A. <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERt,REGULAR MEETINGOctober 15, 20186:30 PM <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: <br />Finance - Request for Reallocation of Funds for the Frank Liske Park Restroom Project <br />$50,000 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Frank Liske Park Restroom project has $530,375 allocated to it for construction in the <br />Construction and Renovation Fund. This funding will cover the anticipated base bid and <br />project alternates for the project. However, the funding will not cover a contingency. Based <br />on the need for a new very long sewer line, the Infrastructure and Asset Management <br />Department has estimated that an additional $50,000 will be needed to complete the project. <br />If approved, funds can be reallocated from the completed Fall Protection Project which was <br />completed under budget. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve $50,000 in additional funding for the Frank Liske Park Restroom project <br />along with the related budget amendment and project ordinance. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Susan Fearrington, Finance Director <br />Kyle Bilafer, Area Manager of Operations <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT REQUIRED: <br />Page 95 <br />
