CABARR1S CO11iATT <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />=qD November 19, 2018 <br />H.A.6:30 PM <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Appointments to Boards and Committees <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointments and Removals - Cabarrus County Youth Commission <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The following youth commissioners need to be removed from the Cabarrus County Youth <br />Commission roster due to high school graduation: <br />Jasmine Lewter -A.L. Brown High School <br />Devin Mullins - Concord High School <br />Noorpur Parikh - Early College High School <br />Lauren Martin - Hickory Ridge High School <br />Additionally, Mariah-Sydney Steele has not met the attendance requirement set forth in the <br />bylaws. <br />The 2018-2019 Cabarrus County Youth Commission has been very active and recommends <br />the following students to be appointed for two-year terms. A letter in regards to the <br />Youth Commission's recommendation is included in the Agenda. <br />Bellamy Counou - Early College High School <br />Luke Linkel - Northwest Cabarrus High School <br />Sarah Houston - Early College High School <br />Cason Gardner - Nalbone's Learning Mission (Technically a reappointment) <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to remove the following members from the Cabarrus County Youth Commission <br />roster and thank them for their service: Jasmine Lewter (A.L.
