More Industrial Speculative Development <br />Planned for Cabarrus County <br />Cabarrus EDC recently announced two new industrial speculative development projects in Cabarrus County <br />Griffin Industrial Realty plans to add two new buildings to its recently rebranded Carolina Tradeport development in Concord, <br />which currently consists of a 100`a leased, 277,000 square foot warehouse located at the intersection of Poplar Tent Road <br />and International Drive. The two new buildings at Carolina Tradeport are expected to generate approximately $12,800,000 in <br />new investment by Griffin. The new buildings will consist of 147,000 SF and 136,500 SF. <br />Fortius Capital Partners plans to construct Meadows Corporate Park, which will comprise two multi -tenant, industrial buildings <br />fronting 1-85 near Poplar Tent Road. Through its affiliate, Fortius-Richardson, LLC, the company will deliver approximately <br />$9,900,000 in new tax investment. Meadows Corporate Park will be located at 700 Pitts School Road NW, Concord, NC, <br />28027. The Park will feature buildings of 112,000 SF and 80,000 SF with a shared truck court. <br />Construction of a 300,000 SF industrial building is also well underway at 1858 Kannapolis Parkway in Kannapolis. The <br />industrial speculative building features 32' clear height, 6" reinforced concrete floors, and is divisible for lease.
