Specifically, we <br />are seeing increases in switches and servers. Vendors have already assessed a 5% increase on equipment <br />purchased after October 31st, 2018. We are anticipating addition 25% increase will occur after <br />December 31, 2018. <br />If we purchase after December 31, 2018, we will be significantly overbudget. In order to save 25% on <br />network gear (too late on the 5%), we are requesting to purchase the network gear for these sites before <br />December 31 st. There is lifetime warranty on these products; therefore, purchasing earlier does not <br />impact warranty status. <br />Request approval of technology equipment funding as follows: <br />West Cabarrus High School $364,000 <br />Hickory Ridge Elementary School $183,000 <br />Sincerely, <br />!elyH.
