He provided information for a community training session <br />presented by pastors of six local churches. <br />Caleb Sanderlin, resident of Kings Mountain spoke regarding safety issues <br />for workers in the bridge construction industry. He provided handouts to the <br />Board. <br />With there being no one else to address the Board, Chairman Morris closed <br />that portion of the meeting. <br />(E) OLD BUSINESS <br />None. <br />(F) CONSENT <br />(F-1) Active Living and Parks - 2017 Fees and Chargee Policy <br />Each year, the Active Living and Parks Department reviews the Fees and <br />Charges Policy, presents it to the Active Living and Parks Commission and Senior <br />Centers Advisory Council, and recommends changes to the Board of Commissioners. <br />The documents previously provided at the December 4, 2017 Work Session <br />reflected the proposed changes to the Fees and Charges Policy and a summary of <br />the requested changes. These items are addressed during this time of year so <br />that they can be in place in January and for the entire calendar year.
