He further stated no county funding is <br />involved; but the Carolina International School is required, through their <br />process, to go through the county for approval. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br />unanimously carried, the Board suspended its Rules of Procedure in order to <br />take action on this item due to time constraints. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Kiger and <br />unanimously carried, the Board scheduled a public hearing on behalf of Carolina <br />International School for Monday, August 20, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon <br />thereafter as persons may be heard. <br />BOC - Resolution Amending the Board of Commissioners' 2018 Meeting Schedule <br />Lauren Linker, Clerk to the Board, stated the Board of Commissioners' <br />2018 Meeting Schedule needs to be amended to reflect the third and fourth <br />Quarterly Cabarrus Summit meetings. <br />Approval of Regular Meeting Agenda <br />The Board discussed the placement of the items on the agenda. <br />Vice Chairman Honeycutt MOVED to approve the August 20, 2018 as shown <br />below. Commissioner Shue seconded the motion. <br />A discussion ensued.
