August 20, 2018 (Regular Meeting) Page 3660 <br />Kannapolis City Schools (KCS) had an $85,000 balance in capital funding <br />at the end of June 30, 2018. The funds are allocated as a federal grant match to <br />make improvements to the McKnight Child Development Center. The project should <br />be completed in August. The school system is submitting a request to have the <br />funds reappropriated to FY19. The college ordered a forklift in March that has not <br />been delivered. RCCC would like to reappropriate remaining FY16 funds to cover <br />the cost of the forklift. Funds are available within the <br />fund from previously completed projects to fund the restroom project increase. <br />
