An Energy <br />Program Outreach Plan must be submitted annually to the NO Division of <br />Social Services. The plan must be approved by the Board of Commissioners. The <br />presentation at the work session included a brief overview of the energy <br />programs and the planned outreach. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Kiger, seconded by Vice Chairman Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Energy Program Outreach Plan. <br />(F-12) Human Resources - Updates to Personnel Ordinance <br />Human Resources has reviewed several updates with County Management and <br />requests modification to these Ordinance sections: <br />Article I. Organization of Personnel System, Section 3. Definitions - <br />clarifications of employee types and associated Munis system codes <br />Article III. The Pay Plan, Section 3. Use of Salary Ranges, (c) Merit <br />Increase Administration - adding language to address treatment of those at top <br />of pay range as recommended in last salary study <br />Article III. The Pay Plan, Section 12. Sheriff's Education Incentive <br />Program - changes to reflect recommendation from last salary study <br />Article III. The Pay Plan, Section 15. Bi -Lingual Incentive - <br />clarifications to this incentive versus where bi-lingual is a job requirement <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Kiger, seconded by Vice Chairman Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommended Personnel Ordinance <br />changes. <br />(F-13) Infrastructure and Asset Management - Surplus of Historic Items to <br />Historic Cabanas <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Kiger, seconded by Vice Chairman Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board tabled this item to the September regular <br />meeting. <br />(F-14) Planning and Development - HOME Program Project Ordinance and Budget <br />Amendment <br />The HOME Project Ordinance will require updating and a budget amendment <br />adopted to allocate program income that has been received. The program income <br />was collected from a repayment of a HOME program loan and is required to be put <br />back into the program.
