The Manager may transfer amounts up to $100,000 between functions of the same Ordinance. c. The Manager may transfer amounts between contingency funds which are set aside for a specific project for budgetary shortfalls or upon the appropriate approval of a change order. J. The Manager may either enter into or execute change orders or amendments to County construction contracts in amounts up to $90,000 when the project ordinance contains sufficient appropriated but unencumbered funds. Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 20-187.2, it is requested that Chief Deputy Hunt's service weapons (Sig Sauer P320, 40 caliber, serial #58C352174 and Sig Sauer P224, 40 caliber, serial #500000091) be declared surplus and awarded to him for the price of $1.00 each for a total of $2.00. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Kiger, seconded by Vice Chairman Honeycutt and unanimously carried, the Board declared service weapons (Sig Sauer P320, 40 caliber, serial #58C352174 and Sig Sauer P224, 40 caliber, serial #500000091) as surplus property and awarded them to Chief Deputy Hunt for the price of $1.00 each for a total of $2.00 upon his retirement. (F-16) Sheriff's Office - 911 Emergency Telephone Fund Recording System Purchase and Budget Amendment 911 Emergency Telecommunications is requesting to purchase a NexLog Communications Recording System including backup. This is an eligible purchase from 911 funds (Fund 401). The attached budget amendment increases expenditures and appropriates fund balance for this purchase. There are sufficient funds in the 911 Emergency Telephone fund balance for this purchase. (F-17) Tax Administration - Refund and Release Reports - July 2018 The Release Report contains taxpayers' names, bill numbers, valuations, tax amounts, along with the justifications for releasing the valuation/tax amounts for outstanding levies in accordance with N.C.G.S. 105-381. The Refund Report is a summary sheet which lists data from each refund request form, along with the justification for the refunds to the taxpayers in accordance with N.C.G.S. 105-381.
