The old structure was removed earlier this year. <br /> The applicants are requesting to place the new residence 60 <br />feet from the centerline of Miami Church Road. <br /> The right-of-way for Miami Church Road, per NCDOT, is 50 <br />feet wide (25 feet from centerline). Therefore, the <br />applicants are requesting 45 feet of relief from the front <br />setback requirementto locate the new home <br />approximately 30 feet from the edge of the right-of-way. <br /> <br />Site Description: An older home previously occupied the subject property along with <br />two accessory structures and a barn. The older home has since <br />been removed but the barn and accessory structures remain. The <br />barn is located to the rear of the subject property. The two <br />accessory structures are located closer to the front of the property. <br />One is in the middle of the subject property and the other is close <br />to the western property line. <br /> <br />Current Land Uses: The subject property is currently occupied by two outbuildings and <br />a barn (previous residence was removed). <br /> <br />Adjacent Land Uses: Residential and Vacant <br /> <br />
