Engagement <br />A key component of ALP's 10-year Comprehensive <br />Plan Update included collecting input from community <br />members, staff, residents, partners, and County <br />leaders. The outreach efforts included: <br />• DISCOVERY SESSION INTERVIEWS: Conversations <br />with County officials, leadership, and staff on <br />department strengths, weaknesses, priorities, <br />facilities, park amenities, and programs <br />• SOCIAL PINPOINT WEBSITE: An interactive <br />tool where residents could share ideas, provide <br />comments, and suggest connectivity options <br />through a mapping exercise <br />• STAKEHOLDER INTERVIEWS: In-depth discussions <br />with partners relating to the department's strengths, <br />weaknesses, priorities, and future vision <br />• STATISTICALLY VALID SURVEY: Detailed <br />questionnaire mailed to randomly selected County <br />residents to gather feedback <br />• POP-UP EVENTS: In -person interactive booths <br />held at the Active Living & Wellness Expo, <br />Christmas Tree Lighting, and two Christmas <br />events, where participants provided feedback <br />on interactive boards <br />Participants' input from these engagement activities <br />is outlined in the Appendix.
