1792 <br />Resolution Amending the <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners' <br />2024 Meeting Schedule <br />WHEREAS, on December 18, 2023, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />adopted a meeting schedule for calendar year 2024, which sets forth the <br />dates, times and locations of various official county meetings; and <br />WHEREAS, on the first Monday in December of even numbered years, it is customary <br />for the Board to hold a reception and swearing -in ceremony at the <br />Governmental Center honoring elected officials prior to the organizational <br />meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board desires to amend the organizational meeting on December 2, <br />2024 to begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners Chambers of the <br />Governmental Center, 65 Church Street S, Concord, North Carolina; and <br />WHEREAS, the December 2, 2024 agenda work session will be held in the Board of <br />Commissioners Chambers of the Governmental Center and will commence <br />upon the conclusion of the organization meeting (6:15 p.m. or as soon <br />thereafter) <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners hereby amends its 2024 Meeting Schedule as follows: <br />1. The Board of Commissioners will hold the organizational meeting on <br />December 2, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners <br />Chambers of the Governmental Center, Concord, North Carolina. <br />2. The Board of Commissioners will hold the December agenda work <br />session December 2, 2024 at 6:15 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners <br />Chambers of the Governmental Center, Concord, North Carolina. <br />ADOPTED this 18th day of November, 2022. <br />Stephen M.
