CABARRUS COUNTY <br />1"BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />November 18, 2024 <br />6:30 PM <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />F.-19. <br />SUBJECT: <br />Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) - Amendment to JCPC FY 24-25 County Funding <br />Plan: Recommendation for Unallocated Funds <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The County receives JCPC funding and passes the majority of funds on to JCPC-approved <br />sub -recipients. The total amount of JCPC funds allocated by the Department of Public <br />Safety in Cabarrus County for FY 24-25 is $459,927. On September 19, 2024, BOC <br />approved the JCPC's recommendation for $402,732 to be awarded to youth programs and <br />$15,500 for JCPC administrative expenses.
