281 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in special <br />session in the Grand Jury Room at the County Courthouse in Concord, North <br />Carolina, on Wednesday, ~y 4, 1983, at 5:30 P.M. The purpose of the <br />session was to meet with the Board of Light and Water Commissioners to <br />discuss legal matters. <br /> Present - Chairman: J. Harold Nash <br /> Commissioners: Archie Y. Barnhardt <br /> Marcelle Milloway <br /> James W. Lentz <br /> Kenneth F. Payne <br /> Also present were Mr. Charles McGinnis, County Manager, and Mr. John R. <br />Boger, Jrt, County Attorney. <br /> Members of the Board of Light and Water Commissioners present for the <br />meeting were the Honorable Bernie A. Edwards, Mayor of the City of Concord, <br />and Messrs. J. Tom Brown, Jr., and J. W. McGee, Jr. Other officials <br />from the City of Concord included Mr. Don Howell, Director of Utilities; <br />Mr. J. L. Greeson, City Manager; and Mr. John Hugh Williams, Attorney for <br />the Board of Light and Water Commissioners. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to discuss <br />legal matters. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Nash, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> There being no further business to come before the~Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
