In the <br />absence of Chairman Coltrane, <br />Vice-Chairman Lewis <br />Patterson called the <br />meeting <br />to <br />order. <br />Z. A correction of the February minutes was made in adding the time-from 7:00 P.M. <br />to 10:00 P.M. <br />3. Chairman's Report: <br />a. A letter dated March 4, 1969 from Mr. Harper Van Hoy, Chairman of the <br />Iredell District was read. (A copy of this letter is attached to these <br />minutes). <br />b. A memorandum from Mr. J. T. Graham, Chairman of the Rowan District was <br />read. (A copy of this memorandum is attached to these minutes). <br />c. A motion was made and unanimously passed that stream channel improvement <br />requests from Mr. Van Hoy and Mr. Graham would ► acknowledged and is <br />recommended that this work be included in the survey being done in <br />Cabarrus County. <br />d. An invitation from Mr. L. L. Ray, Area Chairman, was read inviting <br />Supervisors, Associate Supervisors and Soil Conservation personnel <br />• attend the Area III Spring Workshop, Thursday, March 27, 1969 at <br />the Howard Johnston Restaurant between Greensboro and High Point at <br />4:oo P.m. <br />e. The Supervisors were glad to have Mr. Lewis Dameron, Area Conservationist <br />present at the meeting. <br />5. The District Conservationist made the following report on accomplishments for <br />
