McClure called the joint meeting to order calling <br />on Hugh Price for prayer. <br />2. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed approving the June <br />minutes. <br />3. Chairman's report: <br />A report was made for Chairman Patterson that he has appointed the <br />foilowii-.1 Cha.i.rinen of Committees for the 1977-78 Plan of operations <br />for the District: <br />v4atershed- Marvin J. Smith <br />Land-Use John T. McClure <br />Public Relations Rev. Tom Hogan <br />Finance Wesley 3. Grant <br />Copies of the Annual Plan of Operations for 1977-78 will be <br />distributed appropriately after all signatures have been obtained. <br />.A. Treasurer's report: <br />7-12-77 NET CASH IN BANK $2622.10 <br />5. District Conservationist report: (Hugh D. Price) <br />a. Hugh Price reported that the County Manager informed him that <br />the following budgets for 1977-78 have been approved by the <br />County Commissioners: <br />C - abarrus Soil & Water District $5000.00 <br />Cabarrus Watershed Commission 5300.00 <br />b. Conservation programs are now being broadcast on three local <br />radio stations. <br />C. It was reported that a meeting is scheduled on August 2, 1977 <br />with the Chairman of the Sediment Control Commission to discuss <br />a local sediment control ordinance. Mr. Price encouraged <br />attendance from members of both boards. <br />
