A motion T,° ,jas made, seconded and unanimously passed. approving the [vlay minutes. <br />3. Chairman's report: <br />Deadline filing date for District Supervisors is Friday, July 7, 1978- <br />1 9 nn rd - - <br />Supervisors were encouraged to reco-imiend someone who has knowledge <br />of the importance of the District program to file by the deadline <br />date on July 7, 1978 at the Cabarrus County Board of k11ections, <br />4. ,Ie s I (- y B. I J, <br />- >rojects reviewed, for comment from Centralina Council of Governments <br />were (1) City of Concord-block grant (2) Cabarrus County-block grant <br />and (3) Nfater System Improvement -City of Concord. <br />b. Gary Babb, 'VIA3 has been servicing cooperators and assisting Hugh Price <br />in other requests being - made to the District. <br />C. Hugh Price recorur.ended to the District Board the cancellation of <br />three conservation plans. The plans T, recommended to be cancelled <br />b0cause of sale or death of the landowner. <br />0. During Nlay, the folloc, was _­,ccomplished: I Conservation Plan; <br />53 individuals and groups wyere assisted; 85 technical services for <br />land unit nlanning; 15 individuals and groups applying practices; <br />12 inventories and evaluations; 10 technical services for area planning ; <br />9 1,� use E%nd t.-catment sitc. pl-kn reviews and 2 inventories and <br />evaluations for resource planning. <br />6.
