MINUTES <br />CABARRUS SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />SUPERVISORS MEETING <br />DATE: April 10, 1979 District Office 7:10 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. <br />PRESENT: <br />SUPERVISORS: J. Lewis Patterson, Rev. Tom Hogan, C. Lipe Barrier <br />2. A motion was made and unanimously passed approving the March minutes. <br />?. Chairman's report: <br />The recommendation to appoint Harold Nash as a District Supervisor <br />was sent to the State Commission on March 20, 1. 379. <br />Treasurer's report: <br />April 10, 1979 NET CASH IN BANK 92751.2?Q <br />5. Committee resorts <br />FINANCE <br />as Rev. Hogan reported that the 1979-19SO budget for the District <br />has been presented to the County Commissioners for approval. <br />h® A motion was mnde seconded and unanimously passed nuthorlz%g <br />the Treasurer to pay the follo7ing: <br />1. Kale Liwing Compan y (office supplies) $14.92 <br />2. N. C. Association Conservation Districts 75.67 <br />(4000 Soil stewardship book markers) <br />1. Klutt7 Lumber Company (Stakes for Lind 5.20 <br />Judging contest) <br />a: Rev. Hogan reported that the Land Judging contest was <br />successful after having to posnpone the March 22nd date. The <br />contest was hold on March 27 on the Edward Stevens farm. <br />Mt. Pleasant team was first place winner of $30.00 with <br />individual winner Tim Tanner of Mt. Pleasant receiving $10.00. <br />
