25 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in regular <br />session in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Governmental Center in Concord, <br />North Carolina on Monday, August 3, 1992, at 6:30 P.M. <br /> Present - Chairman: Carolyn B. Carpenter <br /> Commissioners: William G. Hamby, Jr. <br /> Jeffrey L. Barnhart <br /> Kenneth F. Payne <br /> Absent - Commissioner: Billy J. Simmons, Jr. <br /> Also present were Mr. John V. Witherspoon, County Manager: Mr. Fletcher L. <br />Hartsell, Jr., County Attorney; and Mrs. Frankie F. Bonds, Clerk to the Board. <br /> Chairman Carpenter called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. <br /> Brownie Troop 37 of the Cold Springs United Methodist Church conducted the <br />Presentation of Colors ceremony. Members participating in the ceremony were <br />Heather Love, Elizabeth Mock, Lauren Rush, and Jamie Scott. Adult leaders were <br />Ms. Jan Mock and Ms. Barbara Rush. <br /> The invocation was given by Reverend Melvyn Curlee of the Poplar Grove <br />Baptist Church. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS GONSENT <br /> <br />Budget Amendments Public Health (2) <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Hamby with <br />Commissioners Barnhart, Hamby and Payne and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the <br />Board approved the following Public Health budget amendments. <br /> <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH <br />AMOUNT $770.00 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To purchase Hepatitis B Vaccine for Altmann Crown and Bridge. <br /> Check #20987 has been received and deposited under Miscellaneous Health <br /> Revenue. <br /> <br /> Line Item Present Approved Revised <br />Account Number Budget Increase Decrease Budget <br /> <br />01-6-58-60-088 $61,000.00 $770.00 $61,770.00 <br />58-01-360 $40,150.00 $770.00 $40,920.00 <br /> (Medical Supplies) <br /> <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH <br />AMOUNT $190.00 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: $100.00 received to purchase Hepatitis B Vaccine for <br /> Georgeville Volunteer Fire Dept.
