The Board of County Commissioners held their regular meeting February 5, 1951 a%tthe CoUrthouse <br />at lOo'clock A. ~. with the following members present: <br /> <br />J. Lee White, chairman~ Homer~L. Fink, N. Smoot Lyles, P. Ernest Stallings and L. Bowman Barrier. <br />Absent- None <br /> <br />Motion was made by Homer Fink seconded by M. Smoot Lyles that the following road petitions be <br />passed and sent to State Highway and Public Works Commission. <br /> <br />Grade and gravel roads in Pleasant Hills in No. 8 Township adjoining Highway 73, length 1¼ miles. <br /> <br />Tar and gravel Joyner Road in No. 10 ~ownship length 1.7 miles. <br /> <br />Surface road in No.7 Township from Hammitls shop near St. Stephens Church to Watts Cross Road. <br />Aoproximately 5 miles. <br /> <br />Add to system and maintain road kno~ as Fairview Road from Roberta Mill road to Archie B~wn Road. <br />Hardsurface road from Highway 49 to intersection with propsted hard surfaced road knows as Gold <br />Hill Road. <br /> <br />Road scrape road from Bethpage Road knows as Maple Avenue approximated ¼ mile, in No. 4 To~nship. <br />Hard surface road in No. 4 Township known as Stage Coach Road to Bethpage Road by way of Scout <br />Camp. <br /> <br />Motion by P. E. Stallings seconded by M. Smoot Lyles that Edgar Porter be exempt from poll tax <br />on account of being disable. Whatever poll tax charged against him be cancelled. <br /> <br />Motion by Homer L. Fink seconded by P. E. Stallings that I~.~nt~leparalysis fund be given $250.OO <br /> <br />Being no further business the Board adjorned to meet March 5, 1951. <br /> <br /> <br />
