The Board of. County Commissioners held their regular meeting March 1, 1954 at 10:00 A. M. <br /> o~clock with the followi~ members present: <br />· J. Lee White, Chairman <br /> Commissioners, Homer L.Fink, L.Bowman Barrier, P.E.Stallings, and M. <br /> Smoot Lyles. <br /> <br /> Motion by Homer L.Fink, seconded by P.Ernest Stallings that the State Highway and Public works <br /> <br /> Commission be requested to widen into a standard country road the road that runs Brom Bear Creek <br /> Church to Johnny Littlets road and known as Bear CreekChurch Road, 2 miles. No. 4 Township <br /> Ditches opened, build up and sand the road that runs from Oriole Road to the ~ property of Adam <br /> Grant to a dead end of street and known as fox street. Length of road 650 feet. No. 7 Township <br /> <br /> ~No.; Twn. <br /> Grade and Gravel the road that runs from Linker road to Ivey Cline Road. Length of road 3/4 mm-e. <br /> <br /> Widen, Straighten and Black top the ~oad that runs from Bear CreekChurch Road to paved road <br /> leading from Hwy 49 tp Albemarle.Ending ~t Clyde Honeycutt~s residence., and known as Lowderts <br /> Ferry road. LemA~h of road 1.5 miles. No. 7 Township <br /> <br /> Tar am~ Gravel road teat runs from Knowlwood Drive to Inter Section of Janie Strett and Eva Street <br /> <br /> and is known as Helen and Eva Street. Length of road 848 ft. No. 4 Township. <br /> <br /> Scrape and sand or gravel road that runs from East side of SouthRidge Ave. to Brookshire Ave., <br /> <br /> and is known as Whitfield Ave., length of road 300 ft. No. 4 Township. <br /> <br /> Scrape and sand road that runs from South Ridge Ave. one block to Brookshire Ave., known as <br /> <br /> Park Lane. Length of road 300 feet.
