After said returns had been canvas: <br /> Comaissioner I~.S. Lyles introduced the following resolution vhich vas reads <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ~LATI~ TO THE C.~W~LSS/H} OF THE RE~ OF lq E SPECIAL BOND <br /> <br /> ~ IT RBS/~FED by the ~oard af Cosmissioners for the County of Cabarrus: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the returns of the special bond election held on September 26, 1959, in the <br /> <br /> South Concord Sanitary District, Cabarrus County, having been received from the proper election <br /> officers and the Board having canvassed the sa~e, the following facts are hereby found and <br /> determined$ <br /> <br /> (a) That at a special bond election held in the South Concord ~nitary District on September <br /> <br /> 26, 19~9 there vas sulmitted to the qualified 1 registered voters of said ~ouhh Concord Sanitary Dis. <br /> <br /> trict the followin/t propositions <br /> <br /> Issuing not exceeding $37,000 ~eneral Obligation Water Bonds for the p~rpose <br /> of providing funds for the acquisition and construction of a rater syste~ for the <br /> District, includin/l the acquisition, reconstruction and enlarlleaent of existing <br /> vater mains and lines, the construction ~nd installation of additional water mains <br /> and lines, and the acquisition of ar~ necessary land and rights of v~y, as authorized <br /> by a bond resol%tion adopted, by the ~anitary District Board of said District on July <br /> 29, 1959, and the levy of a tax for the pa~ent thereof. <br /> <br /> (b) That the Board believes that said election vas conducted in full compliance ti th law. <br /> <br /> (c) That the books ~mcle for the ney registration have been ex~ined by this ~ard. <br /> <br /> (d) That the followin9 schedule correctly shove the designation of thepolling place at <br /> <br /> vhich the election ~as held, the mmber of voters regist~med in the new registrationp rovided for <br /> said election and qualified to vote in the e!ection, ~nd the mmber of votes cast for and against <br /> the proposition sul~itted: <br /> <br /> ?olling place Fello_vsb!p Building Southstde Baptist Omrch <br /> <br /> Voters registered and qualified to vote- 165 <br /> Votes for propesition submitted 115 <br /> Votes against proposition i.~ul~ltted 2~ <br /> <br /> Se ction 2.
