75 <br /> <br /> The Cabarrus County Commissioners met at their regular monthly meeting on September <br /> <br /> 1962 at 10:00 A M at the Courthouse with the £ollowing members present: <br /> Chairman: W.Frahk McCray <br /> <br /> Commissioners: M.Smoot Lyles, L.Bowman Barrier, P.Brnest Stallings and W.Guy Isenbour <br /> <br /> Motion by W.Guy Isenhour, seconded by P.Ernest S, allings that a resolution as a <br /> <br /> token of respect and esteem to Albert Coates for the service he has rendered Cabarrus County <br /> and the State of North Carolina as director of the Institute of Government at the University <br /> <br /> of North Carolina, he mailed to W.G. Massey, Clerk of Johnston County Board of Commissioners <br /> which will he mailed later to Mr. Coates. <br /> <br /> Motion by M.Smoot Lyles, seconded by W.Guy Isenhour to Dive A. L.Stonestreet a permit <br /> <br /> to operate a business of public dance hall and eating establishment, which is owned by <br /> <br /> Homer V. Earnhardt and wife Ruth M Earhhardt. Listed below is the Application for license <br /> <br /> North Carolina APPLICATION FOR LICENSE <br /> Cabarrus County <br /> <br /> To the Board of Commissioners of Caharrus County:- <br /> Your petitioner, A. L.Stonestreet, respectfully shows: <br /> <br /> 1. That h~s name is A. L.Stonestreet and that he resides at 805 Aileen AVenue, Kannapolis <br /> Caharrus County, North Carolina, a~dihat he has been a resident of the Stateof North Carolina <br /> for all of his life. <br /> 2. That the address of the establishment for which the license applied for is desired <br /> is on the East side of a County Road leading North from N.C. Highway No. 73 from Odell School <br /> and is Route 1, Davidson, Cabarrus County, l~orth Carolina. <br /> 3.
