The Cabarrus County Commissioners met at a call meeting Wednesday, May 2h, 1967, at <br /> <br />?:30 p.m. at the Courthouse. P~esent were: <br /> Chairman - C. Frank 3ames <br /> <br /> Commissioners - Dr. R. B. Rankin, 3r., Gknn Hawfield, 3ri, <br /> <br /> Estus White, and McNeil Petrea. <br /> <br />Meetins was called to order by Chairman 3ames. <br /> <br /> 3ames Bond~ Register of Deeds, presented budset for Resister of Deeds Office for <br />1967-68. There was discussion on same. No decision was reached at this time. <br /> <br /> Alfred L. Hurt, County Accountant, read and explained part of 1967-68 budsets with <br />commissioners. No action was taken. <br /> <br /> White made motion, seconded by Rankin, to approve the supplement asked for in the 1967-68 <br />school budget request to pay rqquested supplement for school teachers. Vote carried. <br /> <br /> On motion made by Petrea, seconded by Rankin, the vote was unanimous to approve four <br />teachers for the County schools, two teachers for the Concord schools, and two teachers for <br />the Kannapolis schools out of the twelve additional teachers requested for 1967-68 budget, and <br />to include the other four teachers re.quested in the final bud§et for 1967-68 provided money <br />was available. <br /> <br /> The next budget meeting was set for Wednesday, May 31, 1967, at 7:30 p.m. Havin§ no <br />further business, meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Clerk to Board <br /> <br /> <br />
