Glenn Hawfield, Jr. <br /> Commissioners: Robert A. McClary <br /> Charles Gallimore <br /> C. Frank James <br /> John A. Hammett <br /> <br /> The minutes of the meetings of July 10, 1972 and July 24, 1972 were read <br /> <br /> and approved. <br /> <br /> McClary made motion to ratify the Agreement for Mutual Assistance in Law <br /> <br /> Enforcement with Rowan County. Hammett seconded the motion and vote carried. <br /> <br /> This agreement is recorded on page 158 and becomes a part of these minutes. <br /> <br /> Civil Defense Director, Flay Kiser, presented a community shelter plan for <br /> <br /> Cabarrus County in case of nuclear attack. <br /> <br /> Gallimore made motion to adopt the Georgeville Fire District as a 9A <br /> <br /> fire district and certify its boundaries. James seconded the motion.and vote <br /> <br /> unanimously carried. <br /> <br /> McClary made motion, seconded by Gallimore to authorize advertisement of <br /> <br /> bids for five (5) police cars.
