The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in special session at the <br /> <br />Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, on Thursday, July 19, 1973 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br /> Present: Chairman - S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. <br /> <br /> Commissioners: Robert A. McClary <br /> Charles Gallimore <br /> C. Frank James <br /> John Hammett <br /> <br /> Bids were accepted and opened for furnishing a maximum of five (5) ambulances to <br /> <br />Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> Company Bid Per Unit <br /> <br /> Emergency Equipment Company <br /> Rocky Mount, N.C. Action deferred on awarding contract <br /> <br />pending committee's report and recommendation. <br /> <br /> The Commissioners went to the site of the New County Courthouse for ground-breaking <br /> <br />ceremonies.
