192 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, <br />North Carolina met in adjourned regular session at the County <br />Courthouse in Concord, North Carolina, the regular place of <br />meeting, at 4:00 P.M., on August 22, 1978. <br /> <br /> Present - Chairman: S. Glenn Hawfield, Jr. <br /> <br /> Commissioners: Robert A. McClary <br /> John A. Hammett <br /> Marcelle Milloway <br /> Troy R. Cook <br /> <br /> The Chairman announced that this was the hour and day <br />fixed by the Board of Commissioners for the public hearing <br />upon the orders entitled: "ORDER AUTHORIZING $115,000 PUBLIC <br />BUILDING BONDS", "ORDER AUTHORIZING $9,800,000 SANITARY SEWER <br />BONDS", "ORDER AUTHORIZING $8,000,000 SCHOOL BONDS", and <br />"ORDER AUTHORIZING $900,000 WATER BONDS", and that the Board <br />of Commissioners would immediately hear anyone who might <br />wish to be heard on the questions of the validity of said <br />orders or the advisability of issuing said bonds. <br /> <br /> No one appeared, either in person or by attorney, to <br /> <br /> be heard on the questions of the ~alidity of said orders <br /> or the advisability of issuing said bonds and the Acting <br /> Clerk of the Board of Commissioners announced that no writ- <br /> ten statement relating to said questions had been received. <br /> <br /> Thereupon, upon motion of Commissioner Cook, seconded <br /> by Commissioner Milloway and carried, the order introduced <br /> and passed on first reading on August 10, 1978 entitled: <br /> "ORDER AUTHORIZING $115,000 PUBLIC BUILDING BONDS" was read <br /> a second time and placed upon its final passage. The vote <br /> upon the final passage of said order was: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Commissioners Hawfield, McClary, Milloway and <br /> Cook. <br /> <br /> Noes: None. <br /> <br /> The Chairman then announced that the order entitled: <br /> "ORDER AUTHORIZING $115,000 PUBLIC BUILDING BONDS" had been <br /> adopted. <br /> <br /> Thereupon, upon motion of Commissioner Milloway, <br /> seconded by Commissioner McClary and carried, the order <br /> introduced and passed on first reading on August 10, 1978 <br /> entitled: "ORDER AUTHORIZING $9,800,000 SANITARY SEWER BONDS" <br /> <br /> <br />
