Mr. Parker reported that he had called Mr. Buckmeyer, Manager
of Lamar -Dean Advertizing Company of Winston -Salem and at a
recent meeting of the Supervisors the matter of the six (6)
billboard posters which this Company was to install in Cabarrus
County was discussed. He told Mr. Buckmeyer that of the ten
persons present, that not one of them had seen a single poster
displayed in the County.
Mr. Buckmeyer said that the posters were installed during the
month of February and were due to stay in place for 30 days.
Mr. Parker asked him to notify him of the location in Cabarrus
County of each of the six billboards on which the posterswere
displayed. Mr. Parker said frankly, he did not see how six
posters on Soil and Water could be displayed in Cabarrus
County without being noticed by this audience and he thought
perhaps that an error had been made and in checking records
it would probably be found that the posters were displayed
somewhere else.
