Soil Stewardship booklets were distributed to those present <br />for their ministers to use during Soil Stewardship Week. <br />C. A representative to the Resource Conservation Workshop <br />sponsored by the District is to be invited to the May meeting. <br />(Conservation Workshop-Raleigh, N.C.-June 10-14, 1974). <br />FINANCB: <br />a. A motion was made an6 passed authorizing the Treasurer to pay <br />the following: <br />Area Dues $10.00 <br />W. H. Cato Printing 16.52 <br />& Frames <br />b. The Cabarrus District Budget is to be completed and mailed <br />to the County Commissioners as soon as possible. <br />PUBLICITY: <br />a. CONCORD TRIBUNE-3-22-74-Land Judging Contest <br />DAILY INDEPENDENT-3-31-74 Land Judging Contest <br />b. A motion was made and unanimously passed that certificates <br />of appreciation be awarded to those deserving same at the <br />Concord Tribune, Daily Independent and those radio stations <br />that have given time for conservation promotion. <br />
