SECTION A. <br /> <br />LOCAL BILLS (Cont.) <br /> <br />Modify prohibition of centerfire rifles for deer hunting to permit same only <br />from a station/iry stand 12 feet above ground level. <br /> <br />CHAPTER 324 <br /> <br />Session Laws - 1981 <br /> <br />S.B. 174 CHAPTER 324 <br /> <br />AN ACT TO PROHIBIT DEER HUNTING WITH CENTERFIRE RIFLES <br /> IN CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />The General .dssembly of North Carolina enacts: <br /> <br /> Section 1. It is unlawful to take deer with centerfire rifles in <br />Cabarrus County. <br /> Section 2. Violation of this act is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine <br />of not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than two hundred fifty dollars <br />($250.00), or imprisonment for a period not to exceed 30 days, or both, in the <br />discretion of the court. <br /> Section 3. All lawful peace officers of the county and State who are <br />authorized to enforce the hunting laws are authorized to enforce this act. <br /> Section 4.
