Any person who violates any regulation adopted by the Board of <br />Health hereunder shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a <br />fine not to exceed Fifty Dollars ($50.00) or imprisonment not to exceed thirty <br />(30) days as provided by N.C.G.S. Section 130-203. <br /> <br />The County Commissioners or the Health Director may bring a proceeding in the <br />Superior Court for Cabarrus County for the abatement of any violation of this <br />ordinance and regulations issued pursuant to the authority of this ordinance. <br /> <br />SECTION XVII - SEVERABILITY <br /> <br />If any provision or clause of these regulations with application thereof to <br />any person or circumstances, is held invalid, such a declaration shall not <br />invalidate or affect any other provision or ciause of these regulations, or <br />the application of such provision to other persons or circumstance. <br /> <br />SECTION XVIII - CONFLICT <br /> <br />Ail enactments or portions of enactments in conflict with this ordinance are <br />repealed only to the extent necessary to give these regulations full force and <br />effect. This ordinance shall not operate to repeal regulations relating to <br />solid waste management previously adopted by the Board of Health. <br /> <br />SECTION XIX - EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />These rules and regulations shall be in full force and effective from and <br />after the 1st day of January, 1988. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />/s/ Frankie F.
