174 <br /> <br />This instrument has been preaudited in the manner required by the Local <br />Government Budget and Fiscal Act. <br />By: /s/ Blair Bennett 7/27/89 <br /> County Finance Officer/Date <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Moss and <br />unanimously carried, the Board granted permission for a fireworks display at <br />Frank Liske Park on September 9, 1989, beginning at 9:15 P.M. and lasting <br />approximately 12-15 minutes. A pyrotechnician with The Shooting Stars, Inc. will <br />be in charge of the display. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Moss and <br />unanimously carried, the Board accepted the North Carolina Arts Council matching <br />grant (Application/Grant Number 9001234) in the amount of $5,000.00 to be used <br />for general operating support of the Cabarrus Arts Council.
