Watershed Improvement Commission <br />6.1 Coldwater Creek restoration plans are in process. <br />6.2 A Memorandum of support for stream bank stabilization funding was faxed to <br />Cherokee SWCD prior to May 1 Technical Review Committee meeting, where this <br />issue was to be considered. <br />7. NATURAL HERITAGE ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />7.1 Field work was focused on Coldwater Creek and Dutch Buffalo Creek watersheds. <br />7.2 Cooperator's agreement for Steve Mall generated by survey of his land. <br />8. Old Business - None <br />9. New business <br />9.1 A Cooperator Agreement for Steve Mall was presented for approval. <br />MOTION: THAT THE CONSERVATION AGREEMENT BE APPROVED. M) MORRISON, <br />S) HUDSON, C. <br />9.2 N. C. may receive $3.9 million for EQIP. Final pending of the rules still pending. <br />9.3 USDA, NRCS Watershed Sciences Institute is looking for summer help to assist with <br />gathering data.
