MINUTES -3- December 2, 1997 <br />6.2 A committee of the Lower Yadkin River Basin Planning team toured the Goose <br />Creek watershed in Union County in preparation for writing a 319 grant proposal. <br />7. Natural Heritage Survey Report <br />7.1 A grant proposal has been submitted for a wetland project on Clarke Creek to the N. <br />C. Clean Water Management Trust Fund by the Land Trust for Central North <br />Carolina. <br />7.2 Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department staff assisted with a <br />prescribed burn on a bog meadow to enhance native vegetation. <br />8. Old Business - State Association Meeting will be held January 4 - 6, 1998 and will be in <br />Raleigh, NC. Total Quality Training for SWCD Supervisors will be held on Sunday January <br />4 at 1 PM. <br />9. NEW BUSINESS Mike Downs will be the project coordinator for the move of the Ag <br />agencies into the health department building. The move is expected some time during the <br />months of June /July 1998. Mike is planning to get the building plans to the departments <br />for input early next week. <br />A.
