He also said the Association is moving forward on the <br />Executive Director position and Districts are asked to give money <br />toward this position. Also, every Supervisor is asked to give $50.00 <br />toward this position as well. Mr. Hudson said one of the <br />responsibilities of the Executive Director will be to raise funds. <br />The Association committed $15,000.00. There is a Commission meeting <br />in November and an Executive Committee meeting at the same time. <br />There was a general discussion among the Board and staff <br />regarding voluntary agriculture district procedures. <br />The Agribusiness Council has not met since before the Cabarrus <br />County Fair. <br />(6 -B) NCASWCD Community Conservation Commi <br />Bob Ritchie said there was a Conservation Easement Workshop in <br />Winston -Salem last week in which he, Dennis Testerman and Daniel <br />McClellan attended. There were presentations from Duke Law School and <br />the UNC Institute of Government. <br />(6 -C) NCASWCD Legislative Committee <br />Louis Suther said there will be a push in the Legislative <br />Committee to ask for money for the Community Conservation program. <br />(7) Consent Agenda <br />A motion was made by Jeff Goforth and seconded by Tommy Porter to <br />accept the Consent Agenda. <br />UPON MOTION of Jeff Goforth, seconded by Tommy Porter and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the Consent Items. <br />
