164 <br /> <br />Chairman Simmons announced that a meeting was scheduled with the <br />Kannapolis Board of Education on Tuesday, June 4, at 6:00 P.M. <br /> U~ON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter <br />with Commissioners Barnhart, Carpenter, and Hamby and Chairman Simmons voting <br />for, the Board cancelled the public hearing scheduled for June 17, 1991 for the <br />proposed Well Ordinance as recommended by the Board of Health. <br /> Mr. Michael M. Ruffin, County Manager, advised the Board of the <br />outstanding County Awards Program sponsored by the North Carolina Association <br />of County Commissioners. He reported that he had requested County Department <br />Heads to submit nomination forms. <br /> The Board agreed to meet again on Monday, June 10, at 6:00 P.M. to <br />continue review of the proposed budget. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Simmons <br />recessed the meeting until 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 4, 1991, at which time the <br />Board will meet with the Kannapolis Board of Education. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
